Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality

Beyond being an ecological alternative to conventional materials, hemp insulation is an active tool in the fight against climate change.

As a natural material, hemp insulation binds a significant amount of CO₂ through photosynthesis during the plant's growth. When used in construction, this carbon is "locked" in the building material for decades, which can serve as a foundation for obtaining carbon credits. By choosing our products, you can significantly reduce your building's carbon footprint and move closer to carbon neutrality.

Carbon credits are certified units representing the reduction of CO₂ emissions (typically by 1 tonne). Companies seeking to offset their carbon emissions can purchase these credits to support environmentally beneficial projects. While we do not directly produce or sell carbon credits, we work with partners who facilitate their certification and management—helping our customers harness the full ecological value of our products.

Our Role and Contribution

Our customers can incorporate the ecological potential of our products into their carbon strategies.

ECOINSUL helps reduce the carbon footprint of buildings by storing CO₂ long-term in the material.

We are open to collaboration and consultations on how to maximize environmental benefits in specific projects.

Using ECOINSUL hemp insulation is not only an investment in high-quality, healthy thermal insulation—but also in a sustainable future. We help you invest in eco-friendly buildings that have a long-lasting positive impact on the climate.
